Black screen = menu

So when I first installed this in June or July 2014, it was working. Today, almost 1 year after I last installed it, I tapped the icon, it showed a black screen for less than a second, and sent me back to the iPad menu! No matter how many times I try to open the app, it keeps sending me back to the iPad menu. I then tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling, but it still didnt work! The same thing happens whenever I tap on the icon - a black screen shows up for less than a second, and sends me back to the iPad menu. Too bad this happened... It was a lot of fun when it still worked! By the way, it was still iOS 7 at that time. I updated to iOS 8 as soon as I saw the popup saying "iOS 8 is now available!"
